UPDATE: June 15, 2020
We are pleased to announce that as of Wednesday, June 10, 2020, Sterling Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is now classified as a COVID-19 FREE FACILITY. Currently there are no residents or staff that have tested positive, have test results pending, or are showing symptoms.
This achievement would not be possible without the dedication of our amazing staff and the compliance of our resident’s family and friends. This was a team effort on everyone’s part and our success can attributed to the passion we all share in keeping our residents safe and healthy.
To that end, and as a reminder, although we are COVID FREE, our visitation policies have not changed. Our clinical team and medical director will continue to closely monitor our situation internally (on a daily basis) and will make adjustments to visitation policies and procedures when deemed safe and appropriate for health and well being of our residents.
UPDATE: May 4th, 2020
As you were recently made aware, Sterling Village Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation is now classified as a Covid-19 positive facility with one or more residents or staff receiving a positive rest result.
This incident underscores the service and sacrifices made by our dedicated team every day. We have been, and will continue to be, vigilant with infection control protective measures for all residents, patients and employees in the hope of minimizing impact at our facility.
We want to assure you that the residents and employees are handling this situation well. We are following all Federal, State, Municipal and CDC guidelines in making sure that your loved ones and our staff remain safe while those with a positive COVID-19 diagnosis recover as quickly and safely as possible in a secure environment.
We realize that communicating with loved-ones is so important to both our residents and their families, especially at this very challenging time. We also realize that the communication of information regarding the health & well being -as well as the status and changes to policy- within our facility is equally as important. We are happy to provide some helpful tools so that you can access this information daily from a variety of outlets.
Our newest Directory of Resources and information include an option to call in to our dedicated phone line for daily updates on the status of our facility as well as viewing a daily video update via our website, dedicated Facebook page, and dedicated Youtube channel.

Please know that the safety of everyone in our building is our top priority and is of the utmost importance. We continue to be extremely aggressive in meeting, and in some cases exceeding, the recommendations and mandates by all agencies in keeping our residents and staff safe.
